Interesting look at facebook….

Mike Warnock from Illinois Baptist State Association shared with students at Youth Encounter this statement:
” I know you guys spend time playing games on facebook that could be used to further God’s kingdom. How do I know? Because the news feed tells me that such and such got strawberry milk from their pink cow on Farmville. How about this for an app notofication – Jill grew Christ’s kingdom by studying I John 5 this morning, or Jim grew Christ’s kingdom by leading two of his friends to Christ. That’s what I’d like to see…You have the time to make a difference”

That’s a challenging perspective.
